TCC – A Drive Down Memory Lane – 7 July

Come along with Thornleigh Car Club for a full day social drive as we travel to sites of over half a dozen long lost race tracks of Western Sydney. You will get to drive on some of the circuits, see what is left or remember/imagine where the circuit once was.

Drive around the track that was meant to be the site for one of the rounds of the Australian Grand Prix. See what is left of another race track, mere metres away from where TCC runs an event each year. Never got the chance to drive down the main straight of a few of the tracks that the V8’s raced on? Well, here’s your second chance! This is a re-run of last years event for members and other clubs who wish to participate.

This is a fully route charted event making this event, a very relaxing day for everyone.

Date: Saturday, 7th July 2018
Start: 7:45am at Parramatta Park for an 8:00am start (Meeting point will be near Queens Road entrance).
Cost: $10 per person, kids under 16 free (includes bottles of water, a printed Race Track Information booklet and a set of route instructions per vehicle. Day membership included for non-members).
Finish: 5:30pm at the Australian Hotel & Brewery in Rouse Hill. An optional stop before heading home if you want to have a beverage or two and an early dinner to finish off a great event.

A table will be booked, so if you plan to continue on, please confirm this as well as your participation in the social drive.
